Driver Performance Award Program

Each year Kriska rewards qualifying Company Drivers and Owner Operators with the Driver Performance
Award Program.
The following criteria must be met to qualify:

Hired prior to January of current year awarded and be a full-time Company Driver or
Owner Operator

Less than 3 months missed time due to illness or injury

No preventable accidents or equipment damage over $1,000

No accumulation of more than two CVOR/US Carrier Safety Record points on the
company abstract
-
No accumulation of three or more reports for the same incidents
-
No accumulation of five or more reports of any incident
-
No accumulation of two or more customer complaints of unprofessional conduct
-
No accumulation of two or more motorist complaints of poor driving behaviour
-
No accumulation of two or more collisions or equipment damage that totals $1,000
Should a Company Driver or Owner Operator not meet this criteria in the current
year they will still maintain their accumulated years towards future performance awards.
It is our goal as a company to reduce accidents and incidents each year. Nothing would be greater than
to have the entire fleet qualify for this program.

customers with qualified drivers who are committed to the high standards of safety and professionalism.
We’re proud of the relationship that we have with our customers who share our commitment to ensuring
safety.
We have drastically reduced our driver turnover through training and acknowledgement. Between our JAC
committee and driver referrals, our safety record and accident free mileages shows the commitment to
safety by both Kriska and our drivers.
Safety being the major focus of all within the transportation industry, no carrier can afford to be lax
in the safety or maintenance departments. That is why at Kriska our progressive replacement program
constantly renews our fleet and our in-house shop maintains our equipment to standards above government
requirements.
Occupational Health and Safety
Commitments to health, safety and the protection of the environment are integral parts of Kriska. The
protection of its employees from injury is a major continuing objective.
We are all responsible to work in safe environment at Kriska, our strictly enforced maintenance
schedule is to ensure that equipment is safe and that workers comply with safe work practices and
procedures. Management is dedicated to continuous training to ensure a safe and healthy work
environment.
Every worker must protect his or her own health and safety as well as their fellow employees and the
general public on the road. Compliance with the law and with safe work practices and procedures is a
requirement of Kriska.
