March
17, 2004
President, Mark Seymour, today
announced that the Truckload Carriers Association’s National Fleet Safety Program awarded Kriska with
first place in the 25 to 49.99 million miles division for 2003. Mr. Seymour stated “It is truly an
honour to be counted as one of the safest truckload fleets in North America.” Kriska was presented with
the award at the ceremony held in Waikoloa, HI, March 16th at the annual meeting of the Truckload
Carriers Association. Each year, the Truckload Carrier’s Association recognizes fleet safety in the
truckload industry based on their company’s overall safety record, organization, employee
driver/independent contractor selection procedures, training, supervision and accident investigation.
Particularly important are company efforts to exceed state and federal requirements. This is the second
consecutive year Kriska has been recognized for fleet safety with the Truckload Carrier’s Association.
Kriska placed second in Division III in 2002.
