Kriska Presented Canadian Retention Award
September 25, 2004
Message from the President
President, Mark Seymour is pleased to announce
that Kriska was presented the Canadian Retention Award by the Roadside Edge and Over the Road
Magazine at their annual convention in Toronto on September 23rd, 2004.
This award is based on the company’s rates of
driver retention; improvement of their retention numbers over a specified time frame and on a best
efforts basis to improve driver retention by the creation of programs for drivers and their
families.
“The Kriska team should be very proud of
winning this prestigious award, which
was judged by an independent panel of industry experts. The driver retention rates
listed in their submission show that Kriska has put a great deal of effort into retaining their
drivers and owner operators. However, while Kriska’s annual retention
rate is impressive, it is the company’s overall commitment to driver and owner operator retention
that led to their designation as the winner of this year’s award.
An example of this commitment will be the
implementation of an Employee Assistance Program in 2005 which will provide support to Kriska
operators, employees and their families 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year from
anywhere in North America. This, among other initiatives proves that the Kriska organization truly
believes in their motto, “The difference is in our people” and they are very deserving of this
award” Steve Jenkins, Editor, Over the Road Magazine. Relationships Quality Performance.
