Acquisition Announcement

I’m pleased and excited to announce that we’ve made another acquisition.  Kriska has agreed to purchase the assets of Clark Transportation of Perth, Ontario from the Contrans Group.  

The deal is expected to close Sept. 25/09 and will involve 10 trucks and 38 tandem reefer trailers, but more importantly the customers related to their business.

Clark Transportation is a truckload reefer carrier based in Perth, Ontario. Primary scope of business is within Ontario, Quebec and the north east US. Their assets and customers will be an excellent fit for our Temperature Control Division.

As I’ve explained a number of times lately, acquisitions bring quality people, customers and revenue to the Kriska Group. The trick is to find a good fit and this is as good as it gets.
